Complete Description: | Uruguayan born artist Alejandro Cesarco received his MA in Studio Art from New York University / International Center of Photography in 2000. His work centers around the notion of the translated narrative, and he has said, “I am interested in how meaning is displaced, in how discursive circumstances are re-contextualized through memory, recognition, and the natural opacity of language.” He is represented by Murray Guy in New York, recently exhibiting there in June 2008.
